The assignment from Holy Trinity Brompton Church was to develop a Christmas 2019 branding that would check a number of challenges: it needed to be usable for multiple and very different locations, stay consistent, have a traditional yet contemporary character and last but not least, be very ‘Christmasy’.
I started from a typical visual item we all are familiar with: the big and nicely decorated drop cap letters we often find in historical books, manuscripts and fairy tales.
I then proceeded with the creation of a color combination for each and different church location/service. The final delivery counted a wide number of digital artworks for screens, prints (flyers, songbooks, etc...), social media assets obtained thanks to a variety of techniques such as vectorial design, illustration, animation.
