"It's All on the Table" was a series of sermons about the Holy Communion I developed the visual identity for. The client wanted to portray the famous “Last Supper” from italian painter Leonardo Da Vinci, giving it a modern look and pop aesthetic with an emphasis on community. The result is the last supper re-imagined as it was set in a modern times diner, with bright and very 80’s-vibe lights and colors.
Early Study
At the very beginning of this work I picked some of the elements typical from a dinner in ancient palestine times: wine, bread, fruit, soup. I then started playing around with layouts, fonts and styles to see what would meet the client's taste the most:
Both me and the client weren't entirely happy with the routes I was exploring, so I figured it was time to give the project a complete shift, leaning toward 70s/80s pop vibes. These images worked as a reference:
The final concept was finally there: what if the last supper happened in a typical american diner? Maybe an unusual idea, but the client loved it.

I started the final design color grading the whole "room" to make it darker and look like it was lighted up by a pink-ish neon from far. I then designed a neon sign to go on the very back of the room and after going through a few models, I eventually found the final look I was happy with.

DECONSTRUCTED
As part of the ‘It’s All on the Table’ series, ‘Deconstructed’ was developed. The aim of this subseries was to unpack the concept of “communion”, braking it down to its core elements. In the visuals, the word “DECONSTRUCTED” becomes more and more drafted and sketched as you read it, giving a sense of “inverse design process”: a backward journey from the final stage to the early draft.
